Professor Ochefu started his professional career as an academic; a former Professor of Economic History and Development Studies and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Benue State University. His love for Information technology propelled him to take a keen interest in eEducation and ERP solutions for Educational Institutions. Former Vice President, SocketWorks Limited, he successfully led the deployment of enterprise solutions to over twenty (20) institutions of higher learning in Nigeria, Ghana and Liberia.
He is currently the National President of the Historical Society of Nigeria, Director Orbit Technologies and Investments Limited, Chairman, Aboki Publishers and Consultant to United Nations Development Project, Department For International Development and International Republican Institute on social, economic and political issues.
With over 23 years experience spanning Higher Education, public service and Information technology Consultancy, Professor Ochefu possesses strong leadership and management capabilities and has extensive business associates across all sectors. Resources that is immeasurable for a company in an emerging market.
Professor Ochefu holds a B.A. and Ph.D (History) Degrees from the University of Calabar; an MA. in African Studies and an MSc. in History from the University of Birmingham, U.K.
Jide Bamisaye
Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Bamisaye has over ten (10) years experience in Microsoft
technologies as a development and implementation consultant,
with implementation experience in custom Microsoft .NET solutions,
Microsoft BizTalk server, Microsoft Share Point Portal, Exchange
server, Work Flow, Microsoft CRM and other vendor specific
ERP application and information/data interfacing.
Mr. Bamisaye is a Microsoft Certified Application Developer. His specialties include Enterprise Business Process optimization, high-end e-Business systems architecture, complex programming languages, DBMS design and implementation, advanced Internet security and management software training, Telecoms and mobile application development and Project management.
A deployment focused professional with a keen understanding of enterprise business processes, and his breadth of skill and depth of experience encompasses the entire spectrum of processes spanning the entire enterprise value chain.
Formerly Vice President, eGovernment Group, SocketWorks Limited where he led the team that built the National Examinations Council Portal and the Nigerian Immigration Portal; also eBusiness Manager, Metropolitan Bank; and Technical Manager West Africa, Zytec Engineering Ltd, U.K.
Mr. Bamisaye holds a BSc. Degree in Physics, University of Ilorin, a diploma in Information Technology and is a Microsoft Certified Application Developer.
Collins Nkwoji, CPA
Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Nkwoji is a Certified Public Accountant and finance professional with extensive management and board experience in Africa and the U.S.A. Mr. Nkwoji has over 15 years comprehensive experience in public accounting, financial management and analysis, budgeting and planning, and exposure at the largest professional services firm in the world.
Mr. Nkwoji served as Chief Financial Officer under the African Management Services Company Program, and was assigned to SocketWorks Limited. Mr. Nkwoji was responsible for the integrity of the financial structures and operations of the company; in addition to mapping a clear path to the company’s IPO. During this time Mr. Nkwoji improved various operating efficiency measures and designed and implemented standard operating procedures, resulting in a 20% decrease in operating cost profile. Mr. Nkwoji guided the Company through its first prospective private placement offering.
Prior to SocketWorks, Mr. Nkwoji served as Director of Finance for WordWave Inc., Boston, U.S.A., where he helped refinance the company, grow revenues and profits through internal product launches and acquisitions through leveraged buy-outs; and sell the company to a strategic buyer.
Mr. Nkwoji also served as lead Senior Supervisor in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, Boston, U.S.A; and was responsible for the planning and execution of various financial projects including, audit engagements, asset liquidations, derivative instrument analysis, valuation and deal structuring, including a $556 million secondary public offering.
Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, Mr. Nkwoji served in various capacities as a management consultant and a controller, where he demonstrated a hands-on management approach in the development and execution of strategic financial objectives to reduce cost and ensure revenue growth, while increasing shareholder value.
Mr. Nkwoji holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Concentration in Finance and Economics from Boston University Graduate School of Management; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Boston University School of Management.
